About us

Christian Surfers Ecuador is a christian ministry that seeks to tell surfers about the creator of waves

Christian Surfers was born at the end of the 70s by a group of Australian teenage surfers who had the vision of approaching other surfers. Australia became the first national movement with its first full-time worker in 1983, Brett Davis, 23 years old.
In the 80s and 90s the movement reached other beaches in the world, New Zealand, United States, South Africa, United Kingdom, Tahiti, Portugal, France and Japan were the first countries to follow this model of sharing the love of God. In the 90’s South America joined the ministry by the Brazilians followed by Peru and Venezuela. At the end of 2009 Ecuador opened a group of Christian Surfers.
Since then we have been looking for a presence on Ecuadorian beaches so that surfers know the creator of the waves and can praise his name.

That every surfer and every surfing community has opportunity to know and follow Jesus

We share the good news of Jesus with surfers, following Him together in community, empowering others to do the same.
